Building the next generation of VC and PE investors
Since 1999, Venture Fellows has connected McCombs MBAs with leading venture capital and private equity firms - and the mentors, peers, and hands-on experience that shape great investors.
Who We Are
Venture Fellows is a year-long fellowship that places McCombs MBA students inside venture capital and private equity firms for the full academic year. Now in its 26th year, the program combines hands-on firm experience with a rigorous curriculum and a national network of 450+ alumni working across the industry.
-
Fellows spend the academic year working inside a partner VC or PE firm. Typical responsibilities include deal sourcing, market research, diligence, and portfolio company support.
-
A two-semester, speaker-based curriculum covers the full spectrum of private investing. Weekly sessions bring in GPs, LPs, and founders on topics shaped by the Fellows themselves.
-
Twice a year, Fellows travel together on national Treks to meet leading VC and PE firms across the country. Past destinations include New York, San Francisco, and Miami.
